It’s our 5th year in Singapore and we want to thank you, our valued driver-partners, for your continued support and trust. We could not have journeyed this far without each and everyone of you!

To commemorate 5 years of safe rides, we invited Dr Amy Khor, Senior Minister of State for Transport, Sustainability and the Environment to join us at an event last Thursday, where we celebrated with nearly 130 driver-partners and their families! 

Getting Moving

We kicked things off with an invigorating mass exercise to get everyone up and moving. It also served as a reminder for our driver-partners to fit in some quick stretches and exercises when driving. These exercises go a long way in relieving muscle tension and enhancing blood circulation to ease the strain of being behind the wheel.

Opening address

Gojek’s GM Lien delivered a special opening address to thank our driver-partners for their unwavering trust and dedication, while delving into the importance of safety for our drivers on the road. Over 99.99% of our rides this year have been accident-free and it’s only possible with the effort of our driver-partners.

Guest-of-Honor remarks

Next, our guest of honor Dr Amy Khor, Senior Minister of State for Transport, Sustainability and the Environment, took the stage and congratulated Gojek for winning the Merit award for Operational Safety at LTA’s Public Transport Safety and Security Awards 2023. She also shared in our commitment to safety for drivers and encouraged our driver-partners to keep themselves in good health and ensure that they get proper rest.

Launch of Safety Booklet

A key highlight of the day was the joint launch of our Safety Booklet with NTUC, crafted to serve as a comprehensive guide for our drivers. It equips our driver-partners with safety tips and clear directions on navigating various scenarios such as emergencies and handling conflicts. This is a testament to our unwavering commitment to prioritizing the safety and well-being of our driver-partners.

Recognizing your efforts

We gave out more than $2,500 in prizes to our Safety Star and Service Star winners. The Safety Star is awarded to driver-partners with the highest mileage with 0 accidents this year, and the Service Star is awarded to driver-partners with the highest number of 5-star rated rides in 2023. Our driver-partners then went on to enjoy safety-themed games and activities at booths set up by our partners: the Health Promotion Board, Intellect, Gigacover, Vision Direct Club & First Responders.

We ended the day off with a scrumptious tea-time buffet for our dear driver-partners.
