That is why we’ve updated our free accident coverage that covers you in the event of unexpected accidents. 


From 23 November 2020, ALL Gojek driver-partners automatically qualify for this free coverage powered by Marsh and underwritten by AIG – no registration required!


What benefits will you get from this coverage?






Medical expenses of up to S$1,000 

If you get into an accident whilst on a trip and sustain an injury that requires medical treatment, AIG will reimburse you the necessary medical expenses incurred.




Permanent disability and accidental death coverage of up to S$15,000 

You will receive a lump sum of up to S$15,000 if you get into an accident whilst on a trip that results in permanent disability or accidental death.


How to submit a claim? 


1️⃣ STEP 1: Inform Gojek that you got into an accident whilst on a trip, either through in-app help or email to drivercare.sg@gojek.com


2️⃣ STEP 2: Initiate a claim by sending an email to Claims.SGGojek@marsh.com, indicating that you were on trip whilst driving with Gojek at the time of the accident. Marsh will provide you with a claim form to collect more information.


3️⃣ STEP 3: Prepare the following list of claim documents:

Common claim documents
  • Driver’s License
  • Police Report
  • Identification Document (NRIC/ Passport)

Specific claim documents

Medical expenses

  • Medical Report/Medical Record/ Discharge Summary
  • Original Medical Receipts

Accidental Death

  • Death Certificate
  • Autopsy Report 

Permanent Disablement

  • Medical Report
  • Permanent Disability Certificate

4️⃣ STEP 4: Complete and email the claim form (provided by Marsh) along with other claim documents to Claims.SGGojek@marsh.com.

FAQs



Is there a deadline for a claim submission? 

Claims related to an accident whilst on a trip should be submitted through email no later than 30 days after the accident.


How long does it take to process the claim? 

Upon submission, your claim will be reviewed by AIG. If you submitted all the required information / documents and your claim has been approved by AIG, you will be reimbursed within the following estimated timelines: 

  • 15 – 30 working days for medical expenses (if all docs are provided)
  • 90 working days on average for claims in cases of fatality

How do I know the status of my claim submission? 

All details will be included in the email reply from AIG, so make sure to check your email inbox regularly. Alternatively, you may email Claims.SGGojek@marsh.com to enquire on the status of your claim submission.


Note that all claims are reviewed based on Policy Terms and Conditions. Please refer to the policy schedule and policy wording for full benefits, terms and conditions.

This policy is protected under the Policy Owners' Protection Scheme which is administered by the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation (SDIC). Coverage for your policy is automatic and no further action is required from you.
