As part of Gojek’s long-term commitment to create a better ride-hailing experience, we will be revising the platform fee upwards by $0.30-$0.50 to protect your earnings in support of the Platform Worker Bill.
This fee (automatically paid for by customers to Gojek) also goes towards initiatives to improve and maintain our ride-hailing services for all users. With this change, platform fees will start from $0.90 and go up to $1.50 per trip.

Q: How is the platform fee calculated?
A: The platform fee will start from $0.90 and go up to $1.50 per trip for every trip. Customers will pay this fee on top of their fares and ERP charges (when applicable).
This is based on factors including distance travelled and duration, and reflects the range of trips people take on our platform, helping to ensure prices remain fair and competitive for both customers and driver-partners.
Example:
If your customer’s fare is $10, the platform fee adds on $1, so the total fare is $10 + $1 = $11
The 10% service fee will be based on the fare before the addition of the $1 platform fee, so your take home amount will be $10 x 90% = $9 (after the 10% service fee deduction).
Q: How will the platform fee be applied? Do I need to key it in manually after the trip is completed?
A: No, there is no further action required as the $1 will automatically be applied upon booking.
Q: What happens in the event of a cash trip?
A: For cash trips, the amount you are required to collect from the customer is inclusive of the platform fee. This amount will then be deducted from your Earnings Wallet. The platform fee will not be reflected in the breakdown.
