Privacy 101 – DOs and DON’Ts for driver-partners
Dear driver-partners, we want everyone – including you – to have a great experience when using our platform. Here’s a message from our GM, as well as a handy list of DOs and DON’Ts to get that five-star ride, every time, every day!
DOs
- Get LTA’s approval before installing any inward-facing recording devices in your vehicle
- Use customers’ personal data shared by GOJEK only for the purposes of completing a trip
- Obtain customers’ consent if you need to collect, use or disclose their personal data – such as names, mobile number, photos, videos, and pickup or drop-off locations – for other purposes
- Reach out directly to GOJEK if you have concerns or issues with a trip or customer at drivercare.sg@go-jek.com or call +65 3135 3135
DON'Ts
- Collect, use, or disclose any personal data of customers – such as names, mobile number, photos, videos, and pickup or drop-off locations – without their consent
- Record in-vehicle footage unless you’ve got LTA’s approval and you’ve notified customers through a notice in your vehicle or by telling them
- Share personal data of customers on social media or any messaging platforms such as Facebook or WhatsApp – these include in-vehicle footage, name, mobile number, pickup and drop-off locations, photos or videos, or information that could identify the customer
