This June school holidays, we celebrated Gojek Driver Family Fun✨ where our valued driver-partners got to spend some extra quality time with their loved ones. 

We invited driver-partners to watch the highly anticipated 🎥 Inside Out 2 in cinemas with a special Father’s Day activity and our Driver Heroes wrapped up the month by volunteering with the elderly.❤️

Gojek takes you to the movies

Mini carnival
We had a lively mini carnival with game booths that delighted the little ones who joined us.

Buffet lunch
Driver-partners enjoyed a plentiful and mouthwatering halal buffet spread for lunch and took home some memories at the photo booth.

Father’s Day activity
Our driver-partners were surprised with a very special Father’s Day ‘Best Dad’ activity where loved ones submitted heartfelt stories for a chance to win $50! Congratulations to our winners below:

Chua Chin Poh
“I remember me calling him dad many times when I was younger (about 5-6 years old) at my grandma's house and he was so happy. (I could tell from his face). But as I grew older, I was afraid and just simply couldn't muster up the courage to call him dad again😿. I know he is still waiting for the day for me to call him dad and I appreciate all his efforts for the past 16 years or more!!!!! My dad deserves to win because he works so hard everyday at work and still has to juggle the responsibilities and lifestyle of a single parent to 2 children. 😋😋😋😋😋😋”

“My dad would usually bring us out, usually every Sunday to spend time together. He made time for us despite the amount of work he needs to do and would have done but he pushes those aside and spends quality time with us. He would buy stuff for us despite our outrageous requests and in the end, he would always be there for us.”

“He always brings us out to nice outings and there was a time where I was really really sad and he took me out to have fun. I forgot about why I was sad and had so much fun together with him. My dad deserves to win because he's such a hard worker and would really appreciate the extra help that we receive from Gojek. Thank you Gojek!”

“My dad always works hard for my family like others do but I can see that he always works before we wake up and goes back home after we sleep. Besides that, my sister and I also want to buy a lot of stuff online which is hard for my father as well, we all know that my father doesn't earn that much money yet he still try to work as hard as he can to buy the things that we want, this makes me very proud of him and I think this prize will make him happy, I don't know what he will win and get but as long as he feel happy, that’s everything.”

Ong Jit Seng
“I remember a time when I was in Universal Studios with my father…I really liked this plushie from one of the “toss a ring” station!! They had a bundle of “5 tries for $15” and we didn’t want to spend a lot on these games so my father only allowed me to try once. And to my dismay, I didn’t get the plushie!! I was really sad since the plushie was really cute. My father, looking at my expression, told me that we could try something else, but since I was kind of spoiled, I just whined about the fact that I couldn’t get the plushie. My father told me to sit and wait at one of the food shops and I did. Maybe about 10 minutes or so, my father came back with 2 of the plushies!! (and also a lollipop). I hugged him so tight because who knew that he could win?!?! ( maybe me … sort of … ) BUTTT — to this day , I still think about this moment. To my papa, this moment is one of them , but thank you for all the things you’ve done for me that have probably gone unnoticed!! I love you!!

Healthier SG, healthier drivers
There were also ambassadors from MOH and HPB who stopped by to help driver-partners take proactive steps to manage their health, prevent the onset of chronic diseases and have strong support to lead healthier lifestyles.

Movie screening
Our driver-partners and their families then joined us in the cinema with their complimentary popcorn for a screening of the highly anticipated 🎥 Inside Out 2.

Giving back to the community
To close off Gojek Driver Family Fun, Driver Heroes and their families woke up bright and early on the weekend to accompany elderly residents from Tampines Changkat for lunch and shop for household items with their Climate Vouchers at VivoCity.
