More Everyday for you: 10% service fees & more

Hi driver-partners, 


We’ve always been on the lookout to support all driver-partners amidst rising operational costs and increasing demand needs. To ensure your livelihood is protected and to strengthen overall reliability of the ride-hailing industry, we will be rolling out a series of initiatives from 1 Nov 2023



NOTE: 

As standard industry practice, we will also be introducing a transaction fee for all cashless payments to customers from 1 Nov 2023. This will be reflected as a new fare component called Payment Transaction Fee, and will be charged to customers who use non-cash payment methods to pay for their ride. The amount charged will be tiered based on distance, ranging from $0.10 to $0.60. This will not impact your overall earnings and no further action is required from you.

1. Only 10% service fees (until at least end 2024)




Earn more on every trip

We've reduced service fees from 15% to 10% until at least end 2024, ensuring you take home a bigger share. This is our continued commitment to offer all drivers a stable, sustainable livelihood.  




2. Daily incentives 



All-day, everyday incentives

  • All driver-partners are eligible.
  • Drive anytime in the day and be rewarded - the ONLY platform offering all-day incentives everyday.
  • 90% completion rate is required (no change).
  • 60% acceptance rate is required (from 1 Nov).
  • Applicable for GoCar, GoCar Premium, GoCar Kids, GoCar XL Kids and GoCar XL trips (except GoTaxi trips).

Fairer policy

  • MORE points for longer distance trips to better reward your efforts. 

Fastest payouts

  • Receive your incentives within 1 hour of hitting the tier - the fastest in the market.

Completion rate = Total orders completed / Total orders accepted 

(excluding orders canceled by customers and orders canceled within the cancellation quota)


Example: Uncle Bob received 10 orders and only accepted 1 order, which he completed. His completion rate will be 100%.


Acceptance rate = Total orders accepted / Total orders received


Example: Uncle Bob gets 10 orders and only accepts 3 orders. Regardless of his completion rate, his acceptance rate will be 30%.

3. Monthly Loyalty Rewards



Up to 0% effective service fees

  • Stick with us to enjoy up to 0% effective service fees and take home all earnings every trip, plus extra loyalty benefits such as up to 34.2% in fuel rebates, grocery discounts, and more.  

Lower trip targets 

  • Attain better or similar effective service fees at lower trip targets.
  • 90% completion rate is required.
  • 60% acceptance rate is required (from 1 Nov). 

Note: Excludes Classic and Premium non-GoFleet tier driver-partners from 1 Nov 2023 onwards. 



T&Cs 

  • Complete 500 or 650 trips each month.
  • Receive the payouts on the first day of the following month at 1AM.
  • There will be no proration of GoFleet-exclusive incentives if driver-partners join/leave the GoFleet program at any point during the month. GoFleet-exclusive incentives are applicable either to all or none of the trips in any month.
  • Driver-partners are considered a GoFleet driver-partner only upon verification and approval by GoFleet after an enrolment request is submitted to GoFleet by GoFleet Partners.
  • GoFleet driver-partners will not be considered a GoFleet driver-partner anymore once their GoFleet Partners disenroll them.
  • GoFleet driver-partners shall be eligible for the payout of GoFleet-exclusive incentives on all trips in the month only if they remain as an approved GoFleet driver-partner on the last day of that month. If they are no longer a GoFleet driver-partner on the last day of that month, all trips in that month will only be subject to the incentive tier applicable to all drivers.

4. Driving experience



Shorter pickups 

We’ve tightened the allocation radius to reduce far pickups. Since the start of Oct, we’ve seen a 15% reduction in average pickup distance!


Fairer fares

We’ve heard you on low fares and we’ve been optimizing our pricing to ensure fares are fair for all.


Increased ridership

We’re also continuing to increase ridership with more promos, such as the upcoming $555k giveaway campaign, where users can enjoy 15% off their ride (capped at $5) using the promo code “GOJEK555”! 



FAQs


Daily points incentives 


Q: Is there a requirement to qualify for the daily incentives? What do I need to do to be eligible?

A: Starting 1 Nov 2023, you must maintain a 60% acceptance rate on top of the existing 90% completion rate to qualify for the daily incentives. This new acceptance rate requirement was introduced to improve the reliability of customers being matched with a driver,  while continuing to offer you flexibility in choosing trips based on your preference.


Refer below on what completion rate and acceptance rate means: 


Completion rate = Total orders completed / Total orders accepted 

(excluding orders canceled by customers and orders canceled within the cancellation quota)


Example: Uncle Bob received 10 orders and only accepted 1 order, which he completed. His completion rate will be 100%.


Acceptance rate = Total orders accepted / Total orders received


Example: Uncle Bob gets 10 orders and only accepts 3 orders. Regardless of his completion rate, his acceptance rate will be 30%.


Q: When will I receive the daily incentive payout if I am eligible?

A: You will receive the payout to your Earnings Wallet within an hour of hitting the respective points tier and meeting the 90% completion rate and 60% acceptance rate requirements.


Q: Will there be service fees on the daily incentive payout?

A: No, there are no additional service fees on the payouts. 


Q: How are the points/distance calculated?

A: Points are allocated based on the distance calculated between the pickup point and destination within the Gojek system and are final.


Q: Will all trips be eligible for the daily incentives?

A: All GoCar, GoCar XL, GoCar Kids, GoCar XL Kids, and GoCar Premium trips are eligible for the daily incentives. However, GoTaxi trips will NOT qualify for the points incentives. 


Q: Will I be able to see the incentive schemes in the GoPartner app? 

A: You will be able to see the incentive scheme details under Earnings > Incentive tab within the GoPartner app. Click on Points scheme for details on how to earn points.


Monthly Loyalty Rewards 


Q: Who is eligible for the enhanced Monthly Loyalty Rewards?

A: All driver-partners continue to be eligible as long as they have hit the trip targets, except for Classic and Premium non-GoFleet tier driver-partners from 1 Nov 2023 onwards.  

 

Q: What is the start and end period of the trips requirement for the Monthly Loyalty Rewards?

A: Trips from the 1st day of the month, 12AM, to the last day of the month, 11:59PM, will be taken into consideration to determine your Monthly Loyalty Rewards. 

 

Q: When will I receive the payouts for the Monthly Loyalty Rewards?

A: You will continue to receive your Monthly Loyalty Rewards via service fee rebates, it will be paid out monthly to your Earnings Wallet on the 1st day of the following month at 1AM.


Q: Will GoTaxi trips be counted toward my Monthly Loyalty Rewards?

A: Yes, GoTaxi trips will continue to be counted towards Monthly Loyalty Rewards, but will not qualify for any points under the daily points incentive. 


GoalBetter tier qualification / requalification 


Q: What is the criteria for the GoalBetter tier qualification & requalification? 

A: It will continue to be based on trip count and ratings from your past 3 consecutive months of driving. There is no completion rate or acceptance rate criteria.


Payment Transaction Fee


Q: What is a Payment Transaction Fee? Will this impact me? 

A: The Payment Transaction Fee is a new fare component charged to customers who use non-cash payment methods to pay for their ride.
