As Singapore opens up in phases, we understand that hygiene and safety remain the top of priorities in the minds of our customers.
Here’s all that Gojek has done and will continue to do to ensure that your rides remain clean for your commutes – so that when you need to go out and about, you know you’re in safe hands!
We’ve worked alongside our fleet partners to provide free car sanitization for our driver-partners.
From as early as January, the Gojek team has started actively distributing over 10,000 surgical masks to driver-partners through GoHub – our driver support center – to ensure the safety of everyone, even and especially on high-traffic holidays. We’ve also equipped them with over 7,000 sanitizers for use on high-human contact points (like door handles)!
Note: In case your driver isn’t wearing a mask, feel free to cancel and book another ride. Alternatively, drivers are also encouraged to do the same when encountering customers without masks on.
From temperature taking to travel declarations, as well as online exercise classes, we make sure that our driver-partners have all the resources they need to remain in tip-top shape when driving on the road.
Your trip details are automatically stored on our systems – no need to check in or scan anything! To make sure you don’t miss out on any of our messages, verify your email address under ‘My Account’! Not to worry, these deets will only be shared for contact-tracing purposes when necessary.
Safety and hygiene on rides cannot be achieved without your help, so here’s what you can do when taking a Gojek:
a) Wear a mask – make sure your mask remains on at all times through the ride
b) Use cashless payment methods – pay with DBS PayLah! or credit/debit card
c) Verify your email – so you’ll get all the important updates on Gojek straight to your inbox!
We will continue to work with the relevant authorities to ensure the safety of everyone using Gojek through these times. As always, thanks for sticking with us and safe travels!
