Not only that, but the transaction process is also very easy and hassle-free with the presence of GoPay. In our mission to make the process of your transactions using GoPay more secure, Gojek is launching the Fingerprint and Face ID.

Touch ID/Fingerprint verification will be available on Android devices, while Touch ID/Face ID can be found at iOS devices (All devices above iPhone X will have Face ID, whereas older devices will have touch ID). The Touch ID/Fingerprint authentication (iOs & Android) and Touch ID/Face ID (iOS) feature are alternative security features for official GoPay transactions besides PIN. This feature utilizes biometric identity or unique physiological characteristics of each user consisting of fingerprints for Android users as well as fingerprints or faces for iOs users so that your transactions are safer.

How to enable the Fingerprint ID (Android) feature:

from the GoPay page:

1. Click "Explore" or "Eksplor" from GoPay menu, then click "Settings" or "Pengaturan". After that, click Fingerprint ID (Android).
2. Activate Fingerprint ID feature.
3. If you are new to Gojek app, please set your PIN first before activating the Touch ID/Fingerprint authentication. If you have already set the PIN, enter the PIN digit here.
4. Give permission to activate the Fingerprint ID feature (Android).
5. Congratulations ~ Your GoPay Transaction is more secure with the Fingerprint ID feature.

from the payment transaction page:

1. After completing a transaction using GoPay, a Fingerprint ID (Android) activation notification will appear.
2. Click "Allow Now" to activate the feature.
3. Congratulations ~ Your GoPay Transaction is more secure with the Fingerprint ID feature.

How to activate the Touch ID (iOS) feature:

1. On your iPhone home, select "Settings" and click "Touch ID & Passcode"
2. Enter your passcode
3. Select "Add a Fingerprint,” follow the instructions on the mobile screen
4. Still on the "Settings" page, activate Touch ID for Gojek application
5. Congratulations! The Touch ID feature is active to secure your GoPay transactions!

Only android/iOs users that have touch/face ID features eligible can use these features.
