Gojek Teams Up with BTS to Bring Joy to Global Audiences

Users in Indonesia, Singapore, and Vietnam will be able to enjoy the best services, promos, and special gifts from Gojek x BTS

Jakarta, June 20, 2022 - Gojek today launched a special collaboration with 21st-century pop icons BTS. The partnership aims to excite users in Indonesia, Singapore, and Vietnam through various promotions and special gifts from Gojek x BTS that will be made available on the platform. 

The collaboration will involve Gojek's food delivery services GoFood, ride-hailing services GoRide and GoCar, Gojek loyalty program GoClub, and GoTo Financial's e-money and mobile payments GoPay. The campaign will be carried out in stages until the end of the year and is aimed at showcasing Gojek's reliable services to global audiences and creating a positive impact for merchants and driver partners.

Audrey Petriny, Deputy Chief of Corporate Affairs Gojek, said “BTS have become a global phenomenon and a symbol of Asian pride, impressing people around the world with their talent and chart-topping hits. With their global influence, BTS spread messages of positivity and support through their songs. It’s this spirit that makes the partnership so special, and is aligned to Gojek’s commitment to create a positive impact on the lives of our users, driver partners, and merchants.” 

Through the collaboration with BTS, the campaign is expected to create excitement among more audiences, and encourage them to experience the convenience of online transactions through Gojek’s ecosystem. Moving forward, Gojek also hopes to continue exploring new ways to improve its products and services, in turn making daily life easier for people across Indonesia and beyond.

The campaign will be gradually rolled out across Indonesia, Singapore and Vietnam, starting with Singapore and Indonesia from today. The launch in Singapore - aimed at “painting the town purple” - will include BTS-themed out of home placements, accompanied by digital and social efforts across various channels. Gojek Singapore’s ongoing promos, such as its “GOTOMALLS” code that gives consumers 2 x S$3 off rides to/from malls as well as its 925 pass subscriptions for discounted off-peak rides, will remain valid during the campaign period. 

In Indonesia, the collaboration will include the introduction of a new TVC, where BTS members RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook speak in fluent Indonesian and order Indonesian cuisine via GoFood. The campaign will launch in Vietnam in the coming months. 

Over the next few months, all users in Indonesia, Singapore and Vietnam will also have the opportunity to enjoy special promotions when taking rides, as well as win exclusive BTS merchandise by completing a secret mission from Gojek. More details will be announced in the near future.
