We are in cooperation with PasarPolis in providing this personal accident insurance from  Asuransi Untuk Semua. So that your trip is always safe from the pick-up point to your destination. The SafeTrip+ fee is inclusive of insurance premium in accordance with SafeTrip+'s Product Information.

Activating SafeTrip+ is easy. You can add the option to join SafeTrip+ directly through the Gojek application before you place a GoCar/GoRide order. Here's how:

What is SafeTrip+?

SafeTrip+ is a form of collaboration between Gojek and Asuransi Untuk Semua and PasarPolis that provides protection benefits for you while travelling using GoRide/GoCar services, by only paying an additional fee of IDR 1,000 for one trip. Where the SafeTrip+ fee is inclusive of insurance premium in accordance with SafeTrip+'s Product Information
 

This protection benefit covers the event of death due to an accident, permanent disability due to an accident, and costs incurred due to accidental treatment during the insurance period.
 


What benefits and coverage do I get from SafeTrip+?

The following are the details of the benefits and the sum insured obtained:

Medical expenses due to accidents

If during the trip, the insured had a traffic accident which results in the insured being injured and requiring treatment by a doctor or hospitalization, the Insurer will pay insurance benefits of IDR 35,000,000 per incident.

 

Permanent Disability

The insurer will pay a certain percentage of the Sum Insured to the Insured for losing functions of:

 

Accidental death
If during the trip, the Insured had a traffic accident which results in the Insured dying instantly, the Insurer will pay insurance benefits of IDR 350,000,000 per incident.

Loss of Personal Items due to Theft/ Robbery Compensation
If during the trip, the Insured lost their personal items due to theft or robbery, the Insurer will pay insurance benefits of IDR 1,000,000.

Bereavement Compensation
If during the trip, the Insured had a traffic accident which results in the Insured dying instantly, the Insurer will pay insurance benefits to the heirs in the amount of IDR 1,000,000 for Bereavement Compensation.

Hospital Cash Plan
If the Insured is hospitalized at the recommendation of a doctor due to a traffic accident during the trip, the Insurer will provide Daily Inpatient Compensation of IDR 100,000 per day with a maximum of IDR 500,000 per 5 (five) consecutive days.


When does coverage start and how long is the insurance provided?

SafeTrip+ starts when you begin a trip using GoRide/GoCar services. Meanwhile, the SafeTrip+ period is calculated as you as the insured party are travelling using GoRide/GoCar, or per trip.


What is included in the exclusion of benefits?

The Insurer is not obliged to pay the Sum Assured if the Insured dies due to an Accident, suffers permanent disability due to an accident, or undergoes treatment/care due to an accident due to the following reasons:

  1. Any event arising from war, invasion, foreign act, enemy, hostilities (whether war is declared or not), civil war, rebellion, insurrection, military force or group
  2. Any pre-existing, congenital and hereditary condition
  3. Any illegal or unlawful act by the Insured or seizure, detention, destruction by customs or other authorities
  4. Any condition resulting from pregnancy, childbirth, or miscarriage, abortion, pre-natal care and post-natal care and other complications arising from the disease
  5. Carrying out Hazardous Activities
  6. Insanity, mental or nervous disorders, any condition under the influence of alcohol or drugs (other than as determined by a qualified medical practitioner) alcoholism, drug addiction or solvent abuse
  7. Nuclear reaction, radiation or radioactive contamination
  8. Nuclear, Chemical and Biological Terrorism
  9. Suicide or self-injury
  10. Insured having a higher than legal blood alcohol level
  11. The insured did not make all reasonable efforts to avoid injury or to minimize the claim

How do I file a claim?

When you submit a claim, all evidence of the incident and required documents such as booking number, photo of identity card (KTP), medical resume, receipt or proof of original hospital fees, accident report from the Police or Police Official Report (BAP), and other documents are submitted in the form of a soft copy (photo) and sent via an online form at the time of filing a claim.

After you fill out the claim form on the website, PasarPolis may contact you to ask for answers to several questions related to the events experienced to ensure the completeness of the information (such as what, who, why, when, where and how the chronology of events).

Is there a time limit for submitting a claim?

The submission of a SafeTrip+ claim related to an accident must be reported a maximum of 30 (calendar) days after the incident. You have to complete the claim documents required maximum of 45 (forty-five) calendar days after the first claim submission.
