Therefore, Gojek in collaboration with Bang Jamin and Oona Insurance Indonesia provides insurance for GoCar customers. When you are traveling with GoCar, you will automatically get insurance protection benefits throughout your entire trip without being charged for any extra costs.

I. What benefits and coverage value can I get from this insurance?

Here are the details about the benefits and coverage value that you will get: 

  • Death by accident (Rp50.000.000) 
  • Permanent Disability (maximum of Rp50.000.000) 
  • Medical Expenses (maximum of Rp25.000.000) 
  • Funeral Compensation (Rp4.000.000) 
  • First Aid Costs Reimbursement (Rp1.000.000) 
  • Ambulance Fee Reimbursement (Rp500.000)
  • Loss of Personal Items due to Theft/ Robbery Compensation (Rp1.000.000)

II. Who is covered by this insurance?

The eligible parties for this insurance are max. 2 (two) Passengers who are in the vehicle.

III. How do I submit a claim?

You can visit https://bangjamin.com/id/login, enter your mobile number, OTP, and make a claim on the “My Claims” menu.

IV. What documents are needed to submit the claim?

These are the list of documents or proof that you need to prepare before submitting an insurance claim: 

Mandatory document:

  • Customer ID/ KTP
  • Chronology Detail (inc. Date, Time, and Place of Accident)

Death by accident and Funeral Compensation:

  • Death certificate from local authorities
  • Heir's ID/ KTP
  • Family Certificate
  • Police Official Report (BAP) if the incident is caused by a traffic accident
  • Death certificate from hospital (if died in hospital)
  • Supporting medical documents - X-Ray, MRI, Lab Results (if any)

Permanent Disability

  • Medical Resume
  • Police Official Report (BAP) if the incident is caused by a traffic accident
  • Supporting medical documents - X-Ray, MRI, Lab Results (if any)

Medical Expenses

  • Medical Resume
  • Details of costs/ invoice for treatment at hospitals/traditional treatment
  • Supporting medical documents - X-Ray, MRI, Lab Results (if any)
  • Certification of Traditional Treatment

First Aid Costs Reimbursement

  • Helper KTP/ID
  • Statement Letter
  • Invoice of First Aid Expense

Ambulance Fee Reimbursement

  • Ambulance invoice

Loss of Personal Items due to Theft/ Robbery Compensation

  • Photo evidence of physical violence

V. Is there a deadline for filing a claim?

Yes. You must report claims no later than 30 (thirty) calendar days from the date of the incident via https://bangjamin.com/id/login. Then you must complete claim documents no later than 45 (forty five) calendar days from the date of the first report.

VI. How long does it take to process a claim?

  • Bang Jamin will verify claim documents within 1 working day after all documents are received in full.
  • Bang Jamin will approve and disburse the claim within 3 working days after the documents are verified.
